You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers. Below are some of our most frequently asked questions.
What is a Brewfest?
Craft brew festivals are very popular around the country. Craft beer is becoming an increasingly larger segment of the American brewing industry and these festivals provide craft brewers with an opportunity to share their product with a large audience in an exciting and fun atmosphere.
Can we bring our kids/pets?
Even though this a fundraising event for the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society it is better for the safety of both your pets and other attendees if you leave your pet at home.
How many beers?
We are expecting 60 or more brewers and distributors to be sampling their products. With an average of 3 beers each, that’s at least 180 different beers that will be available to sample.
How much are the tickets?
$30 for an advanced ticket with 100% of the proceeds going to help support the Central PA Humane Society. Tickets will be sold at the door for $35. Regrettably, we cannot offer a discounted ticket to designated drivers as this has been determined to be illegal by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. Included is a tasting glass, an opportunity to spend a day drinking great beer in a great setting, live music, and much more!
Will there be food available?
Yes, the Ball park will have their concessions open to supply you with their great choices.
What about parking?
Like all other events at the ballpark the garage will be available for a small fee.
What if it rains?
One of the great things about the Blair County Ball Park is that the brewfest
is going to be held on the mezzanine under the roof. Regardless of the weather we are we are still able to have a fantastic event.
What are the sample sizes?
Due to the amount of beers and the fact that we want everyone to enjoy the quality of what is being offered we will be limiting sample sizes to four ounce pours. As part of the festival, you are encouraged to take home your glass as a souvenir.
What are the V.I.P. tickets?
V.I.P. tickets are given to sponsors to show our appreciation for supporting Pints for Pets. These tickets include free parking beside the ballpark. V.I.P. ticket holders are allowed early admittance to Pints for Pets and enjoy everything before the general public. Finally there will be a special V.I.P. area where you are welcome to sample beers and food that not available to the regular attendees. And our V.I.P’s don’t wait in lines to enter the event!
