About Us

Craft brew festivals are very popular around the country with the largest one – The Great American Beer Festival – taking place every October in Denver, CO.  Locally, there have been some similar festivals held, but none on the scale of the Pints for Pets Brewfest.

As craft beer grows in popularity, quickly becoming one of the largest segments of the American brewing industry, this festival will provide craft brewers with an opportunity to share their products and brewing techniques with a large segment of their consumers in an exciting and fun atmosphere.

We are pleased to present the 2010 Pints for Pets Brewfest to benefit the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society.  The festival will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010 with Session 1 from 1:30 to 4:30 pm and Session 2 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Blair County Ballpark.

Our unique venue, the beautiful Blair County Ballpark, has it all.  The brewfest is held on the mezzanine level of the ballpark.  Since the mezzanine is covered we can hold this event rain or shine.  And it’s open to the field and the Lakemont Amusement Park so the views are great.

Several local bands are on hand to provide music for everyone’s enjoyment.  The Ballpark concession stands are open during the entire brewfest.  Even non-beer drinkers love the festive atmosphere and come out to socialize with friends and neighbors.

Thanks to the generosity of our many sponsors who underwrite all of the brewfest costs, we can guaranty that 100% of all ticket proceeds go directly to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society.

It’s a great day, awesome brews, cool folks and a very worthy cause.  What could possibly be better than this wonderful day at the ballpark!
